Reliance Student Transportation (Reliance) was re-established in 2016. Reliance finds its roots in York County dating back to the 1950’s, when Carl Caskey, a local farmer, began transporting students for the Southern York County School District. The Caskey family grew Reliance [Motor Coach Company, Inc.] to over 100 school buses and serviced York County school districts including Southern York, Spring Grove Area, West York Area and York Suburban. Reliance became a household name in student transportation known for safe, creative, courteous and reliable service. Our mission is to provide our York County, Pennsylvania school districts with safe, creative, courteous and reliable student transportation services using best in class drivers, equipment and technology while controlling cost which provide a profitable sustained long term business. Our people are our greatest asset. Recognizing the significant contributions that come from all levels of employees, from drivers to mechanics to the administrative staff, the diversity of individuals and ideas, as a team we have adapted to the competitive transportation environment with creativity and innovativeness.
